“Langmore Clinic is a fantastic teaching facility for any level of GP registrar.
There are many reasons why you might like to consider working here for your next rotation. This includes a well structured teaching program and continuous support from the other GPs, its fresh and modern facilities with your own consulting room along with friendly nursing and administration staff who help make your learning experience as easy as possible.
The protected teaching time is very well co-ordinated between three of the senior doctors and may include complex case presentation or more common general practice conditions, as well as things you aren’t taught much of in your medical training such as the importance of looking after yourself with a good work-life balance.
Berwick is one of Melbourne’s largest growth corridors and as a result you will meet lots of young families who are new to the area. You will experience all the benefits that ‘family medicine’ has to offer. There may also be an opportunity to take part in nursing home visits, house calls and residential facility visits taking your medical skills to the road!
Being part of the Langmore team has been a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience so far and I highly recommend you consider it as part of your training.” One of our Registrars
