When will the vaccines be available?

Soon. The AstraZeneca vaccine is expected to become available from late March 2021. Langmore Clinic will be involved in a later stage of the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out. Please check back here in late April/May for more information.

Who?

Priority groups have been identified using public health, medical and epidemiological evidence, including expert advice from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI). This advice is consistent with the World Health Organisation.

How?

Appointments, when available, can be made online or by telephone.


What should I do?

Please make sure that your contact and Medicare details are up to date.
Continue to practice Covid-safe behaviours: cover your mouth when you cough, keep your distance, wash your hands, stay home if you’re sick.
Regularly check this page for further instructions.


Do I have to have it?

It is voluntary to have the Covid-19 vaccine.


Cost

The AstraZeneca vaccine is paid for by the Federal government. There are no out of pocket fees for patients.


Flu vaccines

These are expected to be available from the beginning of April.
Please keep checking this page for further updates.
Please note – Flu vaccine can be given before or after Covid-19 vaccination. with a minimum interval of 14 days.
