Appointments for the Travel Clinic can be made by calling (03) 9703 9277. We recommend you see a doctor at least two months prior to travel.
To secure your booking we require confirmation of the appointment a day in advance so please provide valid contact details. Also please let us know well in advance if you cannot attend your appointment. (Please see our Late Cancellation and Failure to Attend Policy).

Before your appointment, make sure you fill in a Pre-Travel Assessment Form. Each traveller needs to complete a separate form. You may need to get information from relatives or from other clinics to complete the form. If you have not attended Langmore Clinic previously, you will also need to complete a New patient details form Form for each traveller. These forms are located on the downloads section to the right, please complete and print these forms.
All forms need to be returned to Langmore Clinic at least 24 hours before your first appointment. You can do this by post, by fax on (03) 9988 1938. Alternatively, they can be dropped in to the clinic directly. Your appointment will need to be rescheduled if we do not receive your forms on time.
The first part of your appointment is with the travel doctor and will last between 30 minutes and 60. The second part of the appointment is with the nurse for 15 minutes, or 30 minutes for a family. You will need to wait for 10 minutes after the last vaccination before you can go home. Please make sure that you allow enough time for your appointment.
The doctor will tell you at your first appointment if you need booster shots and will arrange follow-up appointments as needed.
The consultation fee for your first appointment is $160.50, with a Medicare rebate of $110.55. The out-of-pocket contribution is $50.00. Subsequent appointments may be charged a lower fee. If all family members are seen at the same consultation, then the first member will be charged the full fee and other family members will be charged the rebate amount (and you will get the whole amount back from Medicare).
Children under 16 years of age will be bulk-billed for Travel consultations if attending as part of a family consultation.
A booking fee of $50.00 per family per initial appointment is required at the time of booking your appointment. This fee will be deducted from your consultation fee.
Individual vaccines vary in price from approximately $45 to $270 each. If you have private health insurance with extras cover you may be able to claim a portion of the vaccine costs through your fund. Receipts will be provided on the day of your consultation.
